INTRODUCTION
A NZ$ 1.6 billion expansion of the existing oil refinery at Marsden Point was undertaken by an alliance between Badger (The Hague), Chiyoda (Japan), Fletcher, Downer, Wilkins and Davies and Mainzeal.
Colin led the McLachlan Group Planning Team who were employed by the alliance for the general programming on the project but also for the nineteen week shutdown which upgraded the old refinery to link with the new expansion.
The Planning Team monitored and updated the programme on a daily basis during the shutdown.
