INTRODUCTION
Higgins were contracted by Meridian to build a windfarm on the coastal hills south of Porirua. We were commissioned by Higgins to prepare, update and report on the construction programme.
The project included building a 3km access road through the forest, access roads to all the windmill sites, windmill foundations and cabling for links to the national grid.
