INTRODUCTION
The project was an extensive processing plant for natural gas, located on south coast of Taranaki, near Manaia.
The gas was piped from a platform 3km offshore, before exporting to the national network via a 12km pipeline link to Kapuni. The overall contractors were Technip.
We were commissioned for various parts of the project which included:
• Bulk earthworks by Hurlstone – preparation, updating and reporting on the programme
• Overall infrastructure which included foundations for all the items of mechanical equipment – we were commissioned by Fulton Hogan to prepare, monitor and report on the programme
• Sales pipeline to Kapuni constructed by Hurlstone – prepared and updated the programme
• Mechanical installations by Robert Stone. We prepare the initial construction programme
